Public sharing

Send the whole bug to anyone you choose. Keep every control.

Share any issue as a link — session replay, console and network logs, with no account or seat. You decide when it expires, what gets redacted, and when access ends.

No account needed

The full bug, not a screenshot in an email

Your client, contractor or stakeholder opens one link and sees what you see — the replay, the console output, the failed requests, the browser and OS. No signup wall, no seat to buy, no “can you send more detail?” thread.

Control

Public doesn't mean uncontrolled

Every link expires by default. One toggle strips emails, secrets and sensitive headers from the logs. Switch a link to members-only and it needs a logged-in seat. Revoke it and it dies instantly — or bring it back if you rushed.

Visibility

Know whether anyone actually looked

Each link reports total views, unique viewers and when it was last opened. Every link sits in one list, filtered by active, expired or revoked. Sharing stays auditable, not something that quietly escapes.

Every control

Built for the security review.

The first question anyone asks about a public link is what happens when it gets forwarded. Here is the whole answer.

Expiry on every link

Links expire in 7, 14 or 30 days. Paid plans add 90 days and a deliberate "never" option. A default applies to every new link, so nothing lives forever by accident.

Redact sensitive data

One toggle strips emails, secrets and sensitive headers out of the logs before anyone outside your team sets eyes on them. Set it per link, or make it the project default.

Members-only mode

Switch a link from "anyone with the URL" to logged-in active members only. Same link, same page — now it needs a seat.

Revoke instantly

Kill a single link, or bulk-revoke a batch of them. Revoked links stop resolving immediately. Changed your mind? Reactivate it.

Per-link analytics

Total views, unique viewers and last-viewed date on every link. You know whether the client actually opened it before the follow-up call.

One place for every link

A project-wide list of every link you have ever created, filtered by active, expired or revoked — so sharing never becomes shadow IT.

Your brand, not ours

Company name and light, dark or system theme on every plan. Paid plans add your logo and brand colour, so the page reads as yours.

Verified guest discussion

Guests comment with a name, an email and a reCAPTCHA check, then verify by email before anything posts. You can delete any comment. Available on Professional.

FAQ

What can someone see with a public bug link?

Exactly one issue — its description, screenshots, environment metadata, console and network logs, and the session replay. Nothing else in your project is reachable: not your other issues, not your boards, not your team. A public link is scoped to the single issue you chose to share.

Can I stop a shared link from working?

Yes, immediately. Revoke a link and it stops resolving on the spot, and you can bulk-revoke several at once from the project's public links page. Revoking is reversible — reactivate the same link if you shared it in error. Every link also carries an expiry date, so access ends on its own even if you forget.

What if the logs contain sensitive data?

Turn on redaction and Bugzy strips emails, secrets and sensitive headers out of the logs before the page is rendered for anyone outside your team. You can set it on an individual link, or set it as the default for every new link in the project. Session replay also masks passwords, emails, phone numbers and credit-card fields at capture time, so that protection carries over.

Do the people I share with need a Bugzy account?

No. That is the point. Anyone with the link opens it in a browser and sees the full bug — replay, logs and all — with no signup, no seat and no licence. If you would rather restrict it, switch the link to members-only and it requires a logged-in active member instead.

Can guests reply without an account?

Yes, on Professional. Guests leave a name and email, pass a reCAPTCHA check and verify by email before their comment appears — so the thread stays clean. Project owners can delete any comment. Comments can be switched off entirely for the project.

Is public sharing available on the free plan?

Yes. Free includes public links, redaction, members-only mode, revoking, per-link analytics and 7, 14 or 30-day expiry. Professional adds your logo and brand colour, guest comments, and the longer 90-day and never-expire options.
